I spoke with K(not agent) yesterday about my latest and greatest idea - parking spaces with power outlets for phevs (or even pure evs). We shall see. J mentioned it to J as well.

I have other great ideas, too. The next one I have is likely to be a hard sell.

So I met with Z and her host

of colleagues. I think what she has to offer might work for the short run. The keys are that I can have: access control, link rich user created docs, full text search, commenting (awkwardly implemented, but just barely usable) and no obvious storage limits. Thats an ok start.

Now to get get busy with some intial produce. I mean product.

Produce! LOL! Vegetables of Mass Destruction!!!!

All your base belong us

Today I meet with Z to get some knowledge base. The thing is, I found out yesterday Z is days away from new motherhood. So what now? I get the plan - GREAT!!! - then I get the long wait? I hope not.

We shall see. More later.

What is it with storage space?

It’s like disk storage comes in limited quantities. Ok, it does, but there are limits, and then there are LIMITS. The Kompany needs to get to the LIMITS stage, where there’s actually enough storage to allow work to be kept on Kompany servers, with all their associated services, like backup and continual shared access to data and work(where appropriate).

I think it is very odd that we have a process in place that in effect works to put the intellectual output of most of the Kompany work force at risk of individual disk failures.

Well, one more thing for Agent(s) K to agitate for.

Works for me. > : )

The Opening Salvo

Know what a jiggler is? It’s a little device in mechanical systems providing a constant source of low level irritation. The almost random (chaotic?) low level signal allows the system to respond more accurately to control inputs. It keeps the total system free and ready for change.

Well, that’s what this blog is about – keeping the system ready for change. And that’s who I am – Agent K, agent of change and provoKateur.

So, Kompany, get ready. Agent(s) K are about to infiltrate the corporate ecosystem, to the betterment of ALL.

Besides, who ever said work shouldn’t be fun, at least most of the time? I mean, other than Dilbert’s Boss – he said if it doesn’t hurt, it isn’t work. I beg to DIFFER!!!!

Regards,

Agent K
